Kids love the play areas, meetings with Santa, crafting stations, and fun holiday atmosphere. Adults can look forward to a live DJ, as well as the chance for some last-minute holiday shopping. It all takes place on December 14, 2024, beginning at 5 p.m., with free tickets available online in advance.

4. Tree Lighting & Holiday Market – 95 Dearborn Ave., Rye, NY 10580
   Immerse yourself in holiday cheer with the annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Market at The Barley Beach House, with a full day of holiday events and activities. Start with shopping from more than 40 local vendors, offering art, fine crafts, and much more. Bring the kids along for photos with Santa, spend time roasting marshmallows in the park, and gather around for the tree lighting ceremony after sunset. Register for free to reserve your spot for this event, which takes place on December 7, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

5. Holiday Fine Art & Craft Fair – 107 E. Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, NY 11746
   The Holiday Fine Art & Craft Fair is an outstanding opportunity to find truly unique gifts for everyone on your list. Shop from more than 60 artists who are part of the Art League of Long Island, offering everything from jewelry to paintings, sculpture, and wearable art. There are two days to attend this free event at its location near Dix Hills homes for sale, on December 7-8, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. each day.
